Surveyors Transcription

Surveyors traditionally produce lengthy documents that can readily occupy support staff for several hours or days at a time. Surveyors often spend time out of the office causing bottlenecks with their workload when they return. This causes issues with having to employ extra support staff to cover for peaks, bringing in temporary staff, overloading existing staff with overtime or delaying project completions.

With much of the recordings being produced out of office, digital dictation has allowed surveyors to deploy technology to manage their workload.

Case Study

With over 20 offices in the UK alone, not to mention offices in a further 20 countries and a staff of over 2,300 managing the typing requirements of this international surveyor was a major logistical headache. The implementation of a digital dictation system allowed the company to move voice files around their offices to alleviate some of the bottlenecks they had experienced. Life was easier but they still had challenges.

Following on from a successful pilot project of Keystroke Pro's typing services the company decided to send all overflow dictation produced in the UK to Keystroke Pro for overnight processing.

They have not regretted this decision. In fact, it has been embraced by their support staff and Management are now in discussion with Keystroke Pro to explore further development and expansion of what we all hope will be a long and fruitful business relationship.
